Chalkidikis

The Chalkidiki olive variety takes its name from the northern prefecture of Chalkidiki where they are mostly cultivated.
Chalkidiki olives are large sized, with a coninal-cylindrical shape ending in a nub.
The high-quality extra virgin olive oils of the "Chalkidikis" variety feature rich fruity aromas. They are characterized by a moderately bitter taste and a moderately to highly intense peppery sensation with a long aftertaste.

Koroneiki

The Koroneiki, a Greek olive variety primarily cultivated for olive oil production.
These small-sized olives, averaging 1.3 grams in weight, showcase a distinctive slightly curved profile with a notable nipple. With its believed origin in the region of Koroni in Messinia, the Koroneiki olive takes its name from this area.
It boasts a strong and fruity aroma and flavor, highlighted by delightful notes of apple, almond, and grass.

Arbequina

Is known for its distinctive features. The fruit is small, highly aromatic, and has a symmetrical shape. It typically exhibits a dark brown color, with a rounded apex (top) and a broad peduncular cavity (the area where the stem is attached). The olives from the Arbequina tree are valued not only for their size and appearance but also for the quality of the oil they produce.

Lefkolia Serron
 
Variety mesocarp (medium-sized), dual-purpose, both for olive oil production and for the production of table olives. It is considered a productive variety, very resistant to cold.
The fruits of the variety are round-ovoid, without a nipple, and during their ripening, they maintain their greenish-white color for a long time, which is why the variety is named this way. Their weight ranges from 3-7 grams.

Nemoutiana

The Nemoutiana variety (also known as Choraïtiki or Atsicholou) is cultivated in the mountainous regions of ancient Olympia, giving rise to an olive oil that is intensely fruity, with moderate to intense bitterness and pronounced spiciness. Rich in aromas, it features dominant notes of freshly cut grass, herbs, pepper, and olive leaves. It has a high content of health-protective phenols.

Tsounati

The Tsounati olive tree is a rare and unique variety, also known as Matsolia, Mastolia, Mouratolia, and Mastoeidis. Widely spread in Crete, this cultivar is known for its resilience to cold and adverse weather conditions. The Tsounati olive trees offer magnificent scents reminiscent of freshly cut grass, green and unripe nutshells, as well as herbal notes and hints of artichokes. In terms of flavor, present a complex and harmonious profile. The taste is slightly bitter, exhibiting intense focus, elegance, and a lasting quality.

Megaron
 
A mesocarp variety with an ovoid fruit shape, suitable for both olive oil and table olive production, green or black. It is cultivated throughout Greece.
It is a medium-sized tree with long pointed leaves. The fruit varies greatly in size and shape and closely resembles the Koroneiki but is larger. The tree is highly resistant to cold and drought (non-irrigated cultivation) and is very productive when provided with basic care, yielding high-quality oil.

Picual

The  variety "Pikual" is classified as an early-yielding variety with high productivity. The fruit has an ovoid shape with a distinctive formation at the end of the fruit. It is recognized as an early cultivation variety, with the suggested fruit harvesting period in mid-November.

Prodromou

Thriving at high altitudes, the Prodromou olive variety is renowned for its exceptional oil quality, making it well-suited for oil production. This dual-purpose cultivar stands out with a high oil yield, resulting in exceptional olive oil.  One of its remarkable features is its ability to withstand very low temperatures. Adapted to the Northern Greece environment, this local variety has proven to be well-suited and resilient in its surroundings.

Kalamon

The Kalamon olive, is a widely acclaimed variety cultivated in Greece, predominantly in the region of Kalamata. Kalamon olive oil is renowned for its rich and fruity flavor, accompanied by a subtle hint of bitterness and a peppery finish. This combination of taste elements creates a well-balanced and robust culinary experience.
In addition to its exceptional taste, is notable for its substantial polyphenol content.
